Amanda, My Therapist
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #80876
MY ONLINE COUNSELING office.
I'm Amanda Wiginton, welcome to my online therapy practice!
Throughout our lives, we are faced with many challenges and counseling can help provide the tools needed to overcome these life obstacles in a healthy way. I believe that therapy is a collaboration and together we can focus on issues that may be negatively impacting your healthy development. Counseling is different for every person and I work to tailor my treatment specifically to your needs and personality in order to help you in best possible way.
My goal is for counseling to be accessible and convenient for you which is why I specialize in message-based counseling. Addressing problems as they come up instead of waiting until your appointment on "Tuesday at 5:00pm", can be a freeing and supportive way to tackle life's problems. Conveniently text using my secure platform for daily support and guidance.
Chat sessions are similar to an instant messaging format with a live text feed so we can connect in a real-time text dialogue. Chat sessions take place through my secure HIPAA complaint platform and can be 30 minutes or 50 minutes
This plan allows you to take your therapist with you as you navigate daily challenges and in moments of stress, doubt, or conflict. Message your Amanda anytime from the convenience of your home, office, or even while waiting in line at the grocery store. This allows us to get to know each other gradually and stay connected throughout the week. This plan can be in addition to live sessions or as a stand alone service.
